when do you stop/drop reading a story? what reasons?
I usually stop/drop a story when I mentally start to wish death upon the author and/or the main characters.
Like the author's story pisses me off so much I wished the author and/or mc to die, is when I know I done fucked up becauss IT'S NOT THAT DEEP. I'm self-aware so don't @ me. I already dropped several stories due to this.
I can usually tolerate a lot of things so when I start wishing death is truly the final sign I need to gtfo.
When the first few chapters of the story is absolutely dog shit. Even if I try re reading multiple times. A good hook will keep me reading until I'm uninterested. reply
bad artstyle + bad translations, the unholy duo that makes me drop stories.
i'll stay with the bad artstyle stories if i enjoy the plot but bad translations are an immediate drop 2 reply
Not my type to read.
Like knowing the opposite person i like turn out to like that i stop reading em and drop it put em into my finish reading.
