Are people just painfully straight and/or oblivious to not get any queer subtext on characters in any media or something? It's crazy to ignore all of the implications just for the sake of normality. It has to be implied because of those people who were already in denial and would definitely explode their shit the moment it gets explicitly stated. Do they need the characters to explicitly kiss and said the three magic words to be considered as canon? I don't understand why they're in denial (I do), but whatever makes them sleep I guess. Friendships do exist but people need to understand that friendships are also a catalyst to romantic relationships, and it's not all conventional to be a couple just because they have feelings with each other, sometimes they're friends who feel this way towards another but never had a chance to label it or just chose not to because of many reasons. I'm pretty sure implied relationships between straight people wouldn't be much of a problem than this (it also doesn't need to be implied)
