No, I can totally take heavy stories! What I can’t take is poorly written, rapist propaganda romps where the reader’s obsess over one man while infantilizing the other bc the author just has to make him overly feminine. How else are they going to depict homosexuality to able to be consumed but a straight audience without making them actually think about actual gay dynamics. Also some people’s taste just screams that they’re abusive or will be in an abusive relationship bc they can’t tell shit ab an healthy one, and that’s neither my circus nor my monkeys.
