was this a dream or a warning?

last month i dreamed about a bizarre man who handed me a knife and told me i knew what had to be done and then he watched me literally stick the knife in my eye.

and that same day i woke up and told my mother. the strange thing was that today she told me that she had dreamed of the same thing, but in hers i myself sharpened a piece of wood like the ones that killed vampires and i stuck it in my eye.

the worst thing is that i'm really having a hard time because i have a problem with my left eye that could blind me if i don't treat it, but the treatment is too expensive and it's only causing problems for me and my mom too.

but thinking about it, it's just one eye... that wouldn't stop me from living normally, right? tt's just one..

Maybe there’s something more wrong with your eye than you know about, maybe you should get it tested again what if there’s some infection or something that might require it being removed. Dunno. Could be a warning or could just be a dream. Dreams are oddly scary at times and sometimes reflect what’s happening irl. But it is weird that you guys had a very similar one.

What I do know is that you’re absolutely right about being able to live with just one eye. You can still see everything clearly! Life won’t be any different, I recommend maybe looking up stories from people who only have sight in one eye or msging them, maybe ask questions you’re curious about. Of course it’s an initially very scary experience but you’ll find out it’s not all that bad once you get used to it. One of my favorite streamers has a mod that regularly appears on his stream that only has sight in one eye, he’s always cheery and happy and says it doesn’t bother him at all. I wish you the best!

I say, pray it away
Chagpt says:
Dreams can be complex and often reflect our subconscious thoughts, fears, or concerns. While dream interpretation is subjective, it's important to note that dreams are not necessarily predictions or warnings about the future. They are more likely a reflection of your thoughts, emotions, or experiences.

In your dream, the bizarre man handing you a knife and instructing you to do something drastic with your eye may symbolize inner conflicts, fears, or a sense of pressure. The fact that both you and your mother had similar dreams might suggest shared concerns or anxieties within your family.

The connection between the dream and your actual eye problem could be coincidental, or it might be your mind's way of processing your worries about your eye health.

Regarding your eye problem in real life, it's crucial to prioritize your health. If the treatment is expensive, consider exploring options such as discussing payment plans with your healthcare provider, seeking assistance from local health programs, or researching financial aid programs that may help cover medical costs.

As for living normally with vision issues, it's true that people adapt to various challenges, and there are support systems and technologies available to help individuals with visual impairments lead fulfilling lives. However, it's essential to address your eye health to prevent further complications.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, it may be helpful to talk to a healthcare professional, counsellor, or a trusted person in your life. They can provide guidance and support as you navigate both the emotional and practical aspects of your situation.
