We've been friends because we used to be neighbors and we are both losers. I used to think highly of her but I'm starting to realize how shitty she's been treating me. the thing is I just joined her group (in elementary days), within that group she's the shy one but ever since I joined I feel left out. while it is understandable given the situation, what isn't alright is them making me the butt of the joke.
in high school we bonded because of depression, we became each other's ears and shoulders whenever we felt down. But she has a habit of dismissing my insecurities or problems by saying that hers is much worse.
now that we are in college, I feel like she's jealous of me or probably hates me based on our conversations when we talk about grades. It became more apparent when she suddenly called me the teacher's pet. Just because I told my teacher that my answer was the same as hers but mine was marked as wrong. I confronted her about this saying that this hurt me, she said it was supposed to hurt, and that I am a teacher's pet. She told me how it was her first time being the highest and I did that (thinking about it now, I think what I did is shitty).
we also made a new friend so now there are three of us. At first, I was super close with this new gal but I noticed how she felt left out. One time a classmate mentioned that she said we left her all alone. So after that, I started not taking new friend with me when I had to do something but that was a HUGE mistake. Cause they started hanging out without me, I started feeling alone and mad cause why can't she notice this when I did? I wanted to cut her out but its hard since we've been friends since childhood

Cut ties with her. I know it's gonna be hard but it’s better to have no friends than toxic friends who are constantly mean to you ans drain your energy. Make new friends and try to find your shared interests!! The longer you hold onto someone toxic the more miserable you will become

Considering she had no problem saying it to your face that she wanted to hurt you I say just straight up tell her she has become toxic and you no longer want to be friends with her. Or if you wanna take the passive route slowly start to ignore her and hang out with others more and if she confronts you tell her you did it to hurt her just like she did to you. Like you don’t have to find excuses to not hang out with someone who is a bitch to you constantly!!

They've already decided to make you a person who deserves to be hated In their brain so it's just not possible.. the only way thru u can get your friend back is if the person they're hanging out with currently, let's call them the third friend, has a sort of fight or something with your childhood friend, then only u might get some attention lol but even if they fight and then they suddenly make up, you're gonna be left out again... :( So yeah cutting them off is the only way :)

It was impossible to keep up with her honestly And she was ALWAYS jealous of my grades, I'd tried several times to make her study with me but the only effect that had was that we always ended up not studying and instead did nails, ate snacks, drew graffiti on the walls and did some other delinquency... She was such a bad influence:'( I still miss her a lot but I know that you cannot get everything in the world and you've to live with it I cut ties with her after she used to harrass me in front of my friends and family... Because of her so many ppl got beef with me cuz she idk maybe just wanted me by her like a puppy... I used to think she was kind because we did stuff together which I never did with any other friends but overall she was always supportive but it just felt like a black hole sucking me inside because later she always used to blackmail me with the stuff more or less I always felt like I was controlling the situation with her because we always did what I wanted but I realised too late that she did it on purpose to make me feel bad.. Idk I still miss her but it sucks because I don't wanna giveup control of my life and be a puppet..
