Advice on creating your own BL?
As readers of BL (or just manga/manhwa in general i guess), whats some advice you'd give to someone looking to write their own BL (either written or in comic form). What's some stuff you'd like to see? What things turn you off?
(Also if someone knows a good platform to post webcomics that allows NSFW please tell me (webtoon currently does not))
I think to make a good gay romance you have to see both men as actual people before their sexual positions. Most bls suffer from doing the latter and the dynamic ends up being very bland with no development to the actual relationship, the only thing that makes them fall "in love" is sex.

Write based on experience, fantasy can only take you so far, so if you don't have enough experience your story will break the suspension of disbelief of viewers pretty fast. If you're not gay yourself, talk to your gay friends, ask about their relationship stories. Don't be afraid to look things up online, do extensive research, consume as many of ...... 1 reply
This is not in a particular order, they are equally as important:
1) Make the motivations of the characters clear
2) Make chemistry visible
3) Keep character development consistent
4) Consent reply
think of any good dynamics you like to see in couples (not necessarily BL but all romance) and try to incorporate that in ur characters you can also make up a new dynamic that u think could be interesting for ur characters.
from those dynamics alone u could build ur characters from there, focus on the depth of ur characters since they r the most ...... reply
