Why does Adventure stories always have harem?
Is it just me? I really hate it when the manga/webtoon has an amazing adventure plot but gets ruined because of the harem or romance. I feel like the story would be better without romance and is completely unnecessary.

Absolutely, I think it's just that romance sells, sometimes people like to project themselves onto the character, and who wouldn't want to be surrounded by sexy people who are all in love with you? I think the draw is there particularly for guys who don't have much going for them lol 1 reply
I agree with I also hate harem in adventure manga/anime. Although if there is a little bit of romance then i don't mind if it's just between two persons. Plot is really important for me in adventure manga/anime and if there is harem it's not anymore focus on plot but only on one guy and bunch of girls reply
