Junior year
Hi ya’ll I’m currently a sophomore going to Junior year soon and I am about to take 4 AP’s 1) AP Lang 2) APES 3) APUSH 4) AP Psych E learning ( Basically means I leave early and take the class at 7-8 pm)
I feel like it’s going to be tough and I just want to know how ya’ll balance this schedule and the work while also maintaining your social life + ec’s :( Please give me advice and also is it okay to get a job during junior year??? Idk help me out
Damn four ap classes? Sheesh good luck. My advice: hold off on getting a job until ur actually a junior. See if u RLLY got the time/ energy then for it. Also BALANCE? WHAT BALANCE? prioritize what u gotta prioritize. For me i sacrifice keepin up w/ friends w/ keepin’ up grades 1 reply
Right now I am in school and I have a job so I can relate to what you were saying. Sometimes I go like a day without responding to my friends just because of how busy and tired I am but the way I balance it out is really just the days when I have like, no work or school. Every school’s AP classes are different because it also depends heavily on where you are and how the teachers handle it. I think you’re best off asking an upperclassman/alum for advice if you can reach out to them.
If you’re planning on getting a job, definitely wait until you get used to your schedule and see what you have time for.
