Dragon ball’s creator, Akira toriyama dies at the age of 68
Uhh I never ask questions or start discussions, neither have I watched or read the Dragon ball series but I want to know how people may feel about this...? That’s it I guess.
Hoping he died knowing he was one of the major vehicles that paved the way to making anime universal. Internet was far from accessible back then but DB had no lack of marketing. Boy or girl, we've chanted 'hame hame haa' at least once. Akira Toriyama was a historical event. reply

BRO WHAT??? he's one of those creators that even if u don't like/watch anime you just know. Bro inspired so many creators and without him we wouldn't have a lot of the anime we have now, I hope he rests in peace. reply
I'm not a huge dragon ball fan but it was literally my entire childhood from age 5 to 9. It was one of the only animes we'd have on basic TV channels in our country (dubbed in our language yeah..) but still. I always have this vivid memory of when I was in kindergarten and cartoons would go from 8am until 1pm and my kindergarten started at 12:30am....... reply
Not something I thought I'd be hearing today. I kind of grew up with dragon ball since my dad liked it, which was when I started go get more exposed to anime and similar things. May he rest in peace. reply
