Why does it feel like the quality of movies has downgraded a lot lately? I feel like people who make movies are focusing too much on being "inclusive" rather than how to make the actual movie good. Also any "new and promising" movies that come out are just remakes of old ones that are already good. Idk maybe i'm oldgen or whatever.
The passion for film has been sucked clean from todays society imo, all you get nowadays are cheap 3D children's flicks talking about LGBTQ for internet validation and money lmao 2 reply

Because a lot of filmmakers just want a quick cash grab instead of focusing on the artistic value. It's also way easier to make movies now than it was in the past. It doesn't mean good films aren't being made though. You will find many many amazing movies if you are willing to watch non English movies. There are good movies out there, a lot of them actually that are coming out. It’s just y’all only focused on the over saturated bad marvel and mainstream movies to even look somewhere else like independent filmmakers. Actually, there has always been bad and sh#tty movie getting made and getting out in the theaters. Good movies, like in any piece of media, always is a small percentage of what gets out.

I usually only watch older movies in general but I do think that you need to know what you like to watch
Personally I only watch new movies at the cinema, so I check every once in a while what looks interesting, I don't really know anything about what social media has to say about movies but usually it ends up being a total of 16 people at the movi...... reply
Honestly not much of a movie watcher dont watch them unless friends ask or im bored, but I do agree that some of the movies which are being made atm arent as good. I cant exactly pinpoint it but it just feels like they are too predictable? reply

You should watch some of Madds Mikkelsen's recent movies a lotta dem got a gud tomatometer. But hon you rite its so hard finding any good movies esp good chickflicks or romcoms, those movies died in like 2015 we're def mire in the era of horror movies, but i aint complain cus many of the horror movies being pushed out are good i love directors lik...... reply
