How tf do I make friends in this situation?!
This year is my last year in high school which is important to me bc I have to pass the most difficult exams of my life to get in the university I want. So I gave up my social life to study all day and night and you know it gets really lonely I even stopped talking to many of my friends bc I didn’t have the time to hangout. So I’m trying to make online friends but idk how to… like I don’t even know if there is even a site for that I rly need help I’ve been so bored and lonely my other irl friends can’t even hang out w me bc they’re studying too
When yall are free after yall get into university hang out together. Make irl friends. Online friends are not worth it, worth the time i mean. It'll seem like yall getting closer and boom one day they'll start ghosting you. It happened to me few times. You can make friends in university too. nothing is wrong w having online friends at all, some people have bad experiences, some people have good ones. it fr depends on how you talk to people and if they want anything to do w you. personally me and my online friend group back in 2019 r still friends til this day nd are very close!!

I made most of my online friends through discord just join servers that are mainly about some of your interests and you’ll easily find people to talk w!! Also don’t be afraid to reach out to people first!! They don’t mind and if they do then they’re not worth being friends w!!!!!! hmm I’d say to try and reach out under comments or posts that let you plug your user (for whatever platform you use to talk to ppl online) to make mutuals w ppl online that have the same hobbies or interests as you. Also, even if you make more friends, you're not going to have the time you think you'll have for them. If you couldn't organize your time for both in high school, it's the same or more amount of work in uni (unless you're in business). 2 reply
Focus on your exams and people around you. Spend more time with your actual friends in real life. There’s 24hr in a day, no way you are using the whole time to study.
