Can you guys please give me ideas for my story i'm writing, it's about a lesbian living in a small religious country town and her wanting to escape it. I got writer's block so that's all I got
How far have you wrote? If none, maybe start with describing how is her struggle living there and how conservative the country is. Maybe with her environment or family & social life. And how she hiding her identity, or maybe you started when she began to realize that she’s a lesbian?

oo maybe make her love instrest someone who is new to that town who comes from a religious family as well but doesn't want her religion to define her or hold her down in a way? maybe they can be like contrasts of each other? kinda a stereotypical trope but its just an ideaaaa reply

I’m no expert, but what has helped me is before actually writing the story, is mapping out key plot points. What points in the story are important to the character’s development or decisions? What points are going to drive the plot forward? Any important events, or introductions of important characters.
