do you guys ever ask your parents to buy you something? stuff like clothes, school supplies, necessities, etc,. have you guys ever felt so guilty about asking them for something, but at the same time, you really want that thing? were very much financially stable (upper middle class), though my mom is pretty cheap in terms of money. she isnt the type of person who would spoil herself, nor her kids. i’ve experienced it first hand, but i feel bad for my younger brother since he doesn’t have a job like i do. he’s been asking me to buy him stuff that he really needs. i told him to just ask our mother to buy it for him since i’ve been saving up money, but he got scared. our father just follows and supports whatever our mother does so he’s pretty much not needed in this situation lol. i just finished college, just started my job, and moved out few months ago, so i still haven’t gotten the hang of it all. i want to confront our mother about it, but she’s been really stressed recently since she building an apartment complex. what should i do?

ps: my brother doesn’t ask for things unless it’s needed. he told me he’s been running out of clothes to wear (puberty really hit him hard).
