Shoujo manga where MC isn’t a blushing loser
Yall can you guys recommend me a shoujo manga where the MC isnt all like “Kyaa handholding??? No we cantttt ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄” like dont get me wrong its cute sometimes but im sick of reading the same type of manga where they have some stupid shit like the MC passing out just because she got kissed. She doesnt need to be mean or badass or anything i just dont want her to act like…..that.
Also it specifically needs to be in a school setting which is probably why im struggling to find a manga like that.
It's been a long time since I've read shoujo but as there haven't been many recs I'll try my best. This is not just romance shoujo tho and for some it jas been reallllllly long since I've read them so i can't 100 % guarantee there is no shyness.

I mean its pretty understandable tbh
Cause shoujo literally means 'young girl' so ofc they're gonna get shy and blush easily..
And most of the time its usually their first relationship so its pretty understandable. Ofc their instant blushin and all can be annoying but Like thats what the genre itself is about. A young girl falling in love. 2 reply
Shoujo is PRECISELY for (japanese) asian girls like that, so you'll have a hard time finding any romance books with that tag that do not go that route.
Some korean webtoons may tiptoe the line tho.
Read up on alternatives if you do not like this common rule in the genre. Josei namely could maybe interest you more, as it's more for adult women tha...... 1 reply
