The fact that this is almost EXACTLY like my experience haha. I don't explicitly ship idols (since they are real and they are their own person with feelings) but I do appreciate a good bond and sweet interactions when I see them. This led me to read fanfictions about them, and since I already was into anime long before I got into J-pop and K-pop I also slowly started to read doujins of cute m/m anime pairings. This was the start of my fast descent into the world of BL, dramas aren't really my thing but manga and anime on the other hand!!!
