Do you trust the ratings on Mangago? I typically tend to avoid reading anything less than 9.3 but considering how some bl full of rape is sometimes rated 9.4 it makes me question as to whether I’m missing out on good stories that have unfairly been rated lower. And I hate how people say this site is full of pedos and weirdos but I think to an extent it holds true(especially when it comes to rating). Yeah. Im just yapping now.
I honestly didnt notice the ratings till someone pointed them out a littl wehile ago lol, i dont pay attention to them ever just the summaries and peoples spoilers about the story. (Idk why people hate spoilers so much tbh. like I would havde read a story with INCEST if people didnt spoil it) reply
I never look at ratings and just read whatever sounds and looks good to me. Has led me to read utter garbage and stuff that's in my top 3. I wouldn't care for others' opinions tbh reply
honestly it depends what you’re into bc sometimes some stories can be rated highly bc the relationship is healthy but I’ve noticed a lot of highly rated ones with SA because the story is “written well” so honestly I don’t trust the ratings and prefer just to look at the comments before I read bc they’re more reliable reply
Personally , i look at the comments. Ive read some very high rated ones 9.4 to 9.5 and the story is wholesome, Thats It. Its wholesome but the character are flat and boring the antagonists are the same people with different designs, (this goes on shoujo type of plots btw) .

Don't really trust them unless with shoujo sometimes. But fr don't just judge the story based on ratings, most raters here have only read the first chapters then decide whether it's a one star or not. Something along the lines of, "another *insert stereotype*, don't read." just after reading the title or synopsis so give those 8s a try, some of the...... reply
i never check ratings outside of a passing glance. one of the best stories that ive ever read has a 8.2 and it's total bs. im pretty sure its because it's in a genre that usually has op mcs and hot women everywhere and it doesnt really have either so the 13 year olds got disappointed about that and had to leave a low review. regardless, reading the...... reply
never even occurred to me to check rating tbh, i normally just go for whatever has the most interesting synopsis/recs from friends. i do have one friend tho who refuses to read anything under 9.7 tho so that makes it hell to get him to read anything i do. i think it!s you're unsure about a manga then why not try it? if you don't like it it's not as...... reply
Not really, I tend to read the summary, but if the summary doesn't give me enough details or not convincing enough I read the comments so I can check out any negative reviews to see if I'd also get the ick reply
