i wish i was a man
whenever i go out i literally have to put on eyeliner, mascara, foundation, eyeshadow, blush, highlighter, lip tint and gloss, choose an outfit (cant be the same one as yesterday or the day before, cant be too slutty or modest), wear accessories, straighten my hair or do a curly routine (both of which will take over half an hour) and i still feel like im not pretty enough
men will literally put on an oversized shirt + cargo pants (bonus points if they brush their teeth and dont smell like rotten eggs) and ppl will declare them a fashion icon i literally cant rn

no one is forcing us to do all that make up (i do it cause i love experimenting with make up or because i wantt to look presentable, but its for me) reply
Meanwhile some guy somewhere out there feels jealous of how diverse women's fashion and beauty options are meanwhile stuff for guys are only composed of t-shirts, jeans, and suits and if he dares to like those "cute" and "girly" stuff for women, people are going to call him names for it.

Men are also being judged by other people, just for different things. Men are shamed for showing vulnerabilities in public, they have to be fit, are always expected to be the ones to do all the heavy stuff (and if they refuse, they're gonna get laughed at) can't approach women carelessly (others might think it's creepy), can't be too touchy with ot...... 1 reply
