One of my frd asked for romance reccs so I gave her few (including every genre bc I read everything) and she said bc she has been reading bl all this time she can't read/finds it hard to read straight romances despite being straight herself. I asked why so and she said it's just how it is for her? Then I met another girl w the same issue who even had a bf that time so now I'm js confused
I don't mind them they're free to do as long as they're not hurting anyone tho I want to know why, so atleast I know I'm not missing anything so if someone has the same issue pls explain Is it bc of the plot? I like reading more mature stories, like more adult situations (not necessarily sex) and I find a lot of shoujo will make the Women weak and too innocent and it's very annoying tbh. Some do it well, but I find that a lot of it is almost like the fl is just a doll with no personality other than they can blush and be nice. I find a lot of isekai manh...... reply
I find it ok but bl stories and straight romance are quite different when it comes to stories itself. It's imo rare to find interesting unique story blot when it comes to Romance and it's also rare to find bl manhwa with less sex scenes compared to Romance.
But that's just why I think she might believe that's hard to read romance compared to bl. reply
I know for some people it's the way the fl is written. Sometimes the lead has a one dimensional personality or is just straight up annoying.
