Though the EBU has been political for quite some time, this is the occasion that they made it most obvious. Me and my family boycotted it although we usually enjoy watching it and laughing at the ridiculous songs they perform. This year was so trash compared to the others, I kind of didn’t pay much attention to it. I only heard their song when I saw a clip from the Finale, it’s nice to see a nonbinary person won! But this year was definitely…not great.
Not even just the political stuff but imo a lot of the songs this year were pretty mid too, like, the songs audit...... reply
ireland netherlands and ukraine's performances were amazing. also thought the performer from armenia was really charismatic. switzerland was good too but at this point winning eurovision doesn't really matter its super rigged anyway. i'd say the contestants who managed to make their voices heard in the middle of that mess will be the ones coming ou...... reply
