ive re read all the chapters so much because i take long breaks waiting for it to update then completely forget the story lmao. but its good, it isnt "dragged on" in my opinion as it feels alot less purposeful to have a whole novels worth of information in 200 or less chapters. its one of those webtoons that are made for multiple series and onwards - unlike God of Highschool which DID drag on for too long in my opinion. the world building and characters wouldnt work in ORV if it was trimmed and cut short. i personally really enjoy that we have the chapters to focus on multple things like character bonding, tension building, world establishing, and so on without it all being rushed

it's too long for its genre.

the beginning was paved well, towards the middle it was getting too long and the end was alright.

like, it's nearly 10000 page and at least 5000 of those 10000 don't forward the end plot but are there because of the nature of how orv worked.

they created a god/s and forced characters to become them where the standard for becoming gods is 'the end'.

stories like that take too long because orv was reasonable with how characters were strengthed. they couldn't become zeus overnight.

once they did become somewhat strong enough, they advanced the intent of the plot or the 'end plot'.

I mean, a lot of people like this because it gives them more time with their favourite characters, but it isn't a creative way to handle the situation and it's not innovative in how it's done.

this led to it being atrociously long for a story because the author doesn't know the word valueable timeskip. nor does the author know what pov means being nearly entirely from dokja's pov, which is fine by itself, but for this type of story is stupid. it's an epic and the worst kind.

literally yjh is the best way to speed the plot by ending on kdj starting a fight and having yjh witness it. it's cool sure to see him outsmart others, but for a world we barely know, it's lengthy and taxing for people to remember. we don't need characters to show off in every arc, but characters to show off when it's the time to show off.

the author spent too much time world building and too little time in thinking about what they are writing.

people who like these stories, don't like it because it's good, the ending and the very beginning is good, everything in the middle is stupid. they like the characters, ergo they're willing to read 5000+ pages of interactions for their favourite characters.

I am not fond... of any of the characters ngl. like they're funny but they aren't that... memorable to me BECAUSE IT'S SO LONG I START DISLIKING THEM BY THE END.
