Im sorry but does anyone ever cringe when they here this said in a story? Like I think its supposed to be cute or romantic or whatever but idk it just rubs me the wrong way but i dont know how to fully explain why so i was wondering if anyone else felt the same and could explain
Stuff like
“I dont like guys/girls, i just like you”
“I like you because you’re you not because you're a guy/girl”
And other corny ass lines fall into this category btw
