Question for the Bl readers
What is a Bl that changed something for you or impacted you? Mine was “darkness before the dawn”, after reading it, I could not get into any bls that had no plot or a terrible art style. Weeks after reading it I went to read some popular manwhas that people had said made them cry, and it didn’t evoke emotions from me like this one did, just my opinion. But I want to know if this had happened to you, and if so what did it.

Ai no fucking Kusabi....ever since that anime I literally cannot get over yaoi.
Sometimes I wished I never watched that anime and sometimes I am happy I got to watch something so beautiful.

Although it wasn't strictly a BL story, it contained some subtle elements. "Banana Fish" had me in tears. Ash and Eiji were two people who simply couldn't find their happy ending. Ig Love Stage? It was my first yaoi manga and anime and I adored it(and still do). It's what got me into yaoi/bl in the first place, so I would say that was the first yaoi/bl that impacted me the most.
