Okay im gonna say it tonight
it may seem irrelevant or unimportant to others but I'm scared. I broke the lcd on my new phone a phone that isn't even a year with me yet it's not like an iphone or something but I'm so so scared tell my parents i know they're gonna get mad and i dont even know if im going to have a phone again i feel so bad bcs it's their bday present for me and I just broke it. We're not that rich not too poor either i guess we're in the middle and every penny of the money they spent matters so idk if they're going to waste it on my phone which i irresponsibly broke and tonight im gonna tell them the truth and idk if my phone can be salvaged pls can u guys tell me if I can still salvage this phone if the lcd is fixed. It's pretty essential since i live apart from my parents due to uni and class so it's pretty important and arghh idk im breaking down from guilt bcs of my stupidity my parents will waste money (which this scenario is debatable idk if they're gonna fix my phone) idk what to do it's pretty fucked up so wish me luck guys for later. And also they've been asking why im not picking up their calls and i've ran out of excuses im freaking scared
Take a deep breath, it's just a phone, you havn't killed anyone. Tell them straight exactly what happened and that you have been making excuses because you didn't want to upset them while you were trying to find a way to fix it. They may be mad, but everyone has broken a phone before, it happens all the time, they'll get over it hopefully sooner ra...... 1 reply
Do u have a part time job (given that ur at uni I assume ur an adult)? Any student loan left over? A way to ease this would be to say you will pay for at least half or something, or do something significant in exchange if not. But if you’re relying on them to pay for a phone u will have to tell them. Best of luck
I’m assuming lcds can be fixed...... 1 reply
Hey, its okay. Take a deep breath, I litterally can feel ur anxiety and nervousness here.
And right, the faster you tell them the better. Explain and apologize; and please, dont be too hard on urself.
If its LCD, I believe its still repairable.
They will get mad, sure, but it will only last just for a while. In the end, they will help u.

this literally just happened to me lol (but in my defense, my phone was already 7+ years old) but here's what i did lmao: i never told them and just got it fixed outside.
cons: i used up school allowance for 3 months (which is also my only allowance) so i pretty much didn't eat that much during that time
pros: my parents didn't get mad at me bec...... reply
I would strongly suggest going to a repair shop and asking about it. You don't have to repair it that moment, just ask about an rough estimate it would cost you to get it fixed.
LCD issues can be fixed usually. For my phone it would cost about 250 € at the official samsung store but my phone is big so it may be much less for you at a normal repai...... 1 reply
Just tell em.. even if they get angry get used to it dont be scared..
If ur LCD is broke and it beyond repair forget the phone and just watch TV.
But if ur LCD is broke with a small crack and the screen it still workin like you can still type or browse sum network. You can still use it but that small crack in LCD is like a death to cp those bla...... 1 reply
but on the good side atleast ur child is not on drugs or out partying in the middle of the night and pregnant right hope this will be a plauasible argument to lessen their anger reply
