fleas
2 months ago I made a post about bed bugs. It was so bad I even considered taking my life over it. I still haven't gotten an exterminator sent out and I've been waiting for 2 months, still somewhat hopeful one will be dispatched soon. I've replaced my bed since a month ago and haven't seen any yet, but I'm pretty sure they'll start popping up again.
A few days ago, maybe just 2 days ago, I've started getting a bunch of bug bites around my legs. They're really itchy and a bit large, so I didn't think they were bed bugs. However, I've just found small jumping insects on my bed and pajamas just today. I'm pretty sure they are fleas, but I don't own any animals. It seems like I need to get another exterminator, but I haven't even gotten the paperwork approved by CPS management for the bed bugs. Now I have to deal with fleas.
The timing is just perfect since I've been having trouble with my washing machine AGAIN since the water has not been draining properly. What do I even do in this situation?
At this point all you can do is try to keep your living area clean and the bed bugs contained. I’d suggest taking a long hot shower and avoiding your bed because I can assure u, your bed is probably infested with fleas.
I’ve gone through a flea infestation before and it took me around 3 weeks to get rid of ‘‘em completely. Fleas can only l...... 4 reply
Why the hell is CPS so fucking useless, man? Every single time I’ve heard someone mention them, they’ve done less than nothing, and it’s so sad. I’m really so, so sorry this is happening to you. I wish I had tips, the only things I can think of are wearing long sleeves and maybe keeping a flea comb around to brush your scalp with in the mor...... 2 reply
I don't know if this going to help but, bed fleas are weak against sun. The traditional way to get rid of those is to expose it directly under the sun. In my case back then, my dad used to dry the mattress under the sun for hours, smack it with some wooden racket and flip it just to make sure that all the spot are exposed to the sun. And also make ...... 1 reply
Fleas can be tricky, but if you get the right tools they’re really easy to get rid of- I believe most of the basic flea killer from Walmart works really well. I know this because i had to deal with them as well a few years back. It was bad because of the summer, but they all tend to die in the winter, so just buy whatever flea killer and use it a...... 2 reply
I had bed bugs at some point in time. Put blankets and sheets in the dryer for 3 spins, vacuum mattress, sprinkled red pepper flakes on mattress, lemon grass essential oil. I did this for 3 days, no more bed bugs. 1 reply
Edit: I unfollowed the question and I guess that makes me lost the ability to actually edit the post. Anyways I haven't been able 2 get my hands on baking soda or salt yet. I'm trying some homemade lemon spray (even though I don't think any homemade remedy is effective). I've also made a soap trap for the fleas but I've only caught 1 so far. I read...... 4 reply
