Death
Im actually so afraid of death I always remind myself that Its going to happen so much time later but I think I will still be terrifed of the idea even in my 80s(if I dont die till that age) Im not a religious person so I dont believe in after life but Im so scared of the idea that going to blank and not have a existence but It feels wrong to believe in religion just because Im scared of after death? Im curious of your opinions about the topic
As an atheist, i.e. not religious (thank Arceus), I am also afraid of the "emptiness" at death.
I imagine it's like when you sleep; peaceful, warm, comfortable, trouble-free - harmony.
It is hard to imagine living in a emtyiness forever? How long is forever? reply
I don't think there had been a time in my life I have feared death. I don't even understand why people are so afraid of it. If I die I die I guess what more is there to it? reply
Death is certain. The unchangeable law. It's an unavoidable fate for all living beings. Sleep can be viewed as temporary death. It's not the death that we're afraid of, it's the things after that. The judgement. The purgatory. Either heaven or hell. reply
Death is inevitable. We all die at some point, but we still continue living and finding our purpose. Well as for me idk anymore, im just waiting for it to happen im not afraid of it. reply

This sent me into a spiral of "why am I who I am and not someone else" and "how is it possible that...... reply
“Why should I fear death?
If I am, then death is not.
If Death is, then I am not.
Why should I fear that which can only exist when I do not?"
i like to think of it as just eternal sleep without any dreams, you weren't conscious before you were born and you won't be after you die. if you aren't religious realistically the only think you should be...... reply
