Guys come on who cares how you call some fictional characters, they wont get offended by it, if you get an ick its a you problem get over it. some people have way too much free time... 1 reply
I personally use MC and ML because I made the switch from yaoi to BL lingo in 2020 when people were, rightly so, getting pissy about the terminology. But forbid I learn a name of the many, many characters who all have the same last name and some iteration of the same 10 first names. reply
YES! The terms are completely fine and are harmless if you’re just using it to define the top/bottom, but the way bl readers label an entire character and call them by ‘uke’ or ‘seme’ is so weird when they could easily say mc/ml like a het manga does?? reply
Words like Top, Bottom, Vers and a bunch of other words are used to signal what sort of intimacy you're into if you're going to be intimate with someone of the same gender - Seme and Uke are also just words....
It only becomes a problem when degenerates add extra value to those words by being weird.... reply
See this is why I just say MC and ML bc no way in hell am I gonna remember their names with my dementia level memoryand at the same time I don't have to deal with people saying I'm weird just bc I use a word that literally has been used for FOREVER just bc you guys need something to complain about reply
Nah . Whenever I heard the words “uke” or “seme”
My ass immediately things to the YouTube apology
I’m sorry but whenever people said “oh the uke is so cute” or smt
MY DUMB ASS KEEPS REPLAYING “the toxic gossip train”
