A good reason why twinks are disliked is because of misogyny and toxic masculinity. So just think, why is a gay man okay in your eyes as long as he doesn’t have any attributes that remind you of women? Like it’s food for thought.
It can be a harmful way of thinking, so I would explore that a bit more.

I used to read BLs with twinks in them until they became annoying, childish, whiny, pushovers, and weak. Moreover, all their backstories were the same, they were either poor or in debt, making the stories boring and predictable. That's when I started to dislike them, and now I can never bring myself to read BLs with ukes like that reply
I don’t really mind twinks but sometimes I think it plays into gender bias. The twink bottoms are always poor, helpless, weak MCs. There are some exceptions but majority of BL follow these troupes.
Also, sometimes it’s not that they are feminized. Because I love when men serve cunt but they are infantilized both mentally and physically. reply
There are plenty of ukes who are not twinkified so that is simply not true anymore. Like the one from Define the Relationship and Full Volume. And twinkies do exist in real life, you know. So by saying you are tired of seeing them is discriminatory to those real guys. 2 reply
