How to stay alive
Please help me. My cat passed away few minutes ago because of me. She want to go out of the house so I let her be because after a few minutes she'll come back again. But because of that, she was attacked by 4 large stray dogs. My cat is small compared to them, she couldn't even escape. How do you live with this guilt? How am I gonna survive? My house is full of her. Her fur is everywhere. She knocked down my mirror and yet I still keep it because of her. How do you sleep? How do you cope with this? How to literally stay alive because I think I'm closer to commiting suicide than ever. Everyone said it's not my fault but because of my actions, it happened. Please tell me how. I want to live.
Genuinely sorry that happened to you, it sounds incredibly awful and traumatic. I know it probably feels overwhelming now, but as with all things, the passing of time will make it easier to bear. geez, I am so, so sorry. But if it’s a little relief, you couldn’t have known that would happen, you can’t predict the future.

My coping mechanism is to go to my digital shrine with millions following. I'd go back and watch my Instagram pet videos account whenever I miss my cute paw family members. It's a great way to reconnect with the joy and love they bring, even if they're not physically with me. I leave comments under the videos whenever I feel normal (good days), and...... reply

YOU wrote that! You may say you want to end it all, but you don't! You want to live. What you really want is for the pain to stop, but unfortunately the only thing that will stop the pain is time. Shit hurts and some shit hurts more, than you can even imagine, but all you can do is give it time!

If you’re gone other people will never know about this beautiful cat you lived with, the pictures, and interesting stories you have to tell. Know that your cat wouldn’t blame you. She loves you and wants you to be happy. Try to do something in memory of her like volunteering or donating to something related to cats or pets. Or help prevent this from happening to other pets. Maybe help people build fences or maybe donate things your cat loved to animal shelters, so you can spread her l...... reply
