if youre british, im sure youll know about the 'leavers shirts' that we make when we leave school and we go around and let everyone sign them. im not sure what to do with mine because i have a chosen name and a deadname.. everyone knows about my chosen name but im worried about teachers and my parents. should i put my chosen name or my deadname?? pls help
If you're comfortable with ur deadname put it under the chosen name in small letters and inside brackets with "aka" like,
[CHOSEN NAME]
(aka [deadname])
If a teacher asks u, tell them that most people call u by that name (chosen name).
If you're not comfortable with ur deadname, just use the chosen name. reply
actually just tell people to not mention a name when they write stuff on you. If someone writes sumn still say theyre just fucking around.
