I would correct them. Not only because it would create false expectations and the person maybe would try adapting to the supposed neurodivergency in a way that isn't fair to you, but also because it could create false expectations for the person how that ND may look like. imo having anxiety or other mental disorders/illnesses already disqualifies me from being neurotypical so like yeah they're kinda right lol. from a practical standpoint i'm not functioning like someone with a Typical brain therefore i'm not neurotypical even if im not exactly neurodivergent. if im talking to someone who's ND then i'd maybe clarify ......   reply
