What's something that bothers you in manhwas?
For me, Korean authors really need to cut down on the timeskips and "oh they knew each other all along from childhood, they're meant to be". Like it takes away from the relationship they build in current time. Turns me off so much I crash out whenever i see these two.
Honestly... they need more unique plots, manhwas rn just follow what's trending where is the art T.T

honestly i think I'll agree with most of the responds here, but I'll add my own thoughts. I dislike the overly detailed body paired with a smooth carrot-chin face. then, the overly wide shoulder to a small head. it honestly looks goofy. reply
It's very petty but I wish more manhwa authors would draw fingernails. I've gotten used to the obvious use of 3D models in anatomy, but the lack of fingernails never fails to irk me.
Also when they exaggerate the veins in the hand and arms. I assume it's supposed to be masculine but for me it just looks gross. 2 reply

Oh I HATE IT when the story keeps pretending the MC is in danger or is facing some huge problem but it doesn't actually stick. They never truly suffer a loss, like there's absolutely no sacrifice at all. Its like the problem exists just to fill a gap or space not to actually challenge the mc and push them forward.

that boring ass plot style where they show the ending or a major plot point in the first chapter and the MC goes "how did I get to this point..." then immediately flashbacks like 2 years or something and the flashback is the story. it killed off all the drama, any surprises, potential plot twists, EVERYTHING. fuck those first chapter moments fr reply
The anatomy and art style can be so bad sometimes. I really cant get into a manhwa if the anatomy is wonky (i.e. a really tiny head compared to a big body…. Aka yaoi proportions…) 1 reply
any manhwa thats tagged enemies to lovers but the enemies to lovers in question is a minor disagreement or misunderstanding and like 2 chapters laters the mcs are making out already or something… i want more ACTUAL enemies to lovers with proper relationship development and not with 1 dimensional characters T_T reply
