Quick question
I know it's stupid of me to ask this question here but I really wanted to ask some of you here something since I don't really have anyone to ask this So we recently argued cause one side said it's not a sin to lay down and pray(lay down as in sleeping position) it doesn't matter what the position is but if you're praying sincerely from your heart it's not a sin, cause what God sees is our sincereness and our heart While the other side said it's a sin to lay down and pray cause it's a lazy thing,it doesn't show respect.Even if you're sincere you're lazy for laying down and sleeping We have been arguing on this topic for so long,we still haven't figured out what is what. Can you guys give your opinions here on whose side is on the right.
I'm not religious, but if praying while lying down is a sin, then people who are physically unable to sit or stand are automatically sinners. So it tells me that that logic doesn't hold up. reply
lazy means you able to do it but you don’t do it and on other side you can’t do it even if you want to, like someone can’t lift his/her head up/heavily injured or sickness.
It’s a huge difference, God sees is our sincereness dw about it. I never heard someone got pushed to lift his head up/sit for prayer~ reply
I never really cared about religion and it's ritualisms, but when u pray ur supposedly doing it to comfort ur mind and soul right? If its just gonna weigh on you that u didn't do it "properly" by kneeling or whatever position it is u take when praying, then why should u personally even internalize that standard at all? It becomes another added burd...... 1 reply
