what do i do?
i have this boy friend who i started a friendship since 2023 on college and we are talking till this day even after not seeing each other anymore, we actually talked more when we were seeing each other, now we just sent reels and talk about something from time to time, but is not full conversation just reels now, and in february he stopped talking with me for 4 days, he didn't say anything and came back like nothing happened, he didn't even bother explaining, i got hurt and did not answered him for 4 days too, but he didn't seem to care and we talked normally again, i thought we were good but he did it again he's 2 days without talking to me idk what to do.. i really like him, he's my only friend that i like to talk (I'm not his only friend and he talks to a lot pf girls) should i ask why he did it? if he talks to me again after some days should i answer him normally? idk what to do help
This might not sound nice but Make more friends. You are not his priority. The more importance you'll put on him, the more hurt you'll get later. People do get drift away from each other naturally all the time. 3 reply
it's been pretty normal for my friends to go a few days w/o responding, but if it makes you upset then its good to communicate your feelings and express your needs to your friend 1 reply
Taking note of how many days you havent talked and retaliating with the same days of silence is funny (and quite childish?). I will say thats normal in college, actually its normal everywhere, you dont have to prove youre friends with how you consistently talk to one another. I apologize if this may sound harsh, but getting frustrated at him for being somewhere else is out of your control.
A person cannot understand how you feel if you decide to throw in the towel and treat them the same. Instead of bottling up your emotions, if it's necessary, please properly communicate.
