Do any of yall also do volunteering works

im curious about some local government you guys have and see if maybe the world isnt that bad. My uni has these community projects every sem, its just voluntarily but its fun actually. This semester, we're kinda going to rural places to give some kids proper nutrition diet, like feeding programs for them for a month. We're divided into teams. Team 1 for the feeding program, team 2 for the education of these kids which where the volunteers will teach these kids how to read and do basic math finally team 3 which is focused on caretaking senior citizens. Last semester it was about helping animals. (All animals have now been adopted)
