Am I the asshole for secretly matching with my friend’s dad on a dating app, hooking up with him twice, and then casually dropping it in conversation with her just to see her reaction?I mean, she always said she hated him, so it’s not like I ruined some perfect relationship plus, he’s loaded and the sex was amazing. She called me a "disloyal sociopath," but honestly, if she didn’t want this to happen, maybe she should’ve warned me he was hot. AITA for thinking she’s overreacting?
I mean tbf if she hates her dad and then you bring up you hooking up with him in a convo with her knowing that, then it makes you the asshole because you knew she wouldn't take it kindly. Though you are free to hook up with whoever you want, nobody and nothing is stopping you as long as that person also wants it. reply

Kinda a asshole. If you’re friend had a bad relationship with him, maybe she feels like you betrayed her by siding with him. You could’ve at least talked to her about it before you went through with it. Then again you are a adult and do make your own decisions but she definitely wasn’t overreacting. reply
