Only for adults only please! How do you guys feel about liking (romantically) characters that are high schoolers as an adult? I would like to know other people’s opinion about such question.
i honestly dont care about the age of the character. If I like them then I like them. I stopped caring when I realized that especially anime character ages are catered towards target audience and story convenience so they very often dont make sense/arent realistic.

I dont take crushes of characters seriously... do people actually, like, fully have crushes on characters? Im genuinely asking, it just hasnt crossed my mind, i just think the characters are cool and thats it, or joke around 'liking' them and thought everyone else was joking like that. Unfortunately with a lot of fictional stuff, the characters often don't look their age. My biggest example is Kanji from persona4. Canonically he's supposed to be 15, but he undeniably looks like he's in his 30s or 40s. Im only 19, and I know im gonna come off as weird but I still give myself a pass for characters that are like 17 and up... 16 if I get brave. I feel like im still in a moral limbo bc irl I've only dated/liked ppl that are definitely older than me. Tbh as someone whose almost an adult (I’m 17) I don’t think I’ll mysteriously stop liking characters like megumi from JJK or the characters from haikyuu, but honestly I don’t think I ever saw them in a “romantic” light so I don’t think it’s that bad. I mean a lot of people consume nsfw content of underage characters, like aren't almost all characters in shounen underage for most part of the show? I really dislike it lol when I was still in highschool I loved it, now I'm in college and I get so uncomfy reading highschool stories...
