Usually what that means when it's popular but barely has any Chapters- is that it got licensed. Your best bet is looking for the official translation.
The site I think I use the most when I'm reading light novels is chrysanthemum garden. And it's not the typical reason you'd think.

Light novels I'm assuming? If not disregard me then. Unfortunately, one of my favorite sites got taken down a while back (RIP Light Novel World) but there's Novel Fire that's also pretty good. If you use an ad blocker (Brave my beloved) there shouldn't be too much trouble. 1 reply
