My native language is spanish, my second language is English and I took many classes in french but I can only understand, read and speak a little bit. My japanese is only on a weeb level lol jk I'm not a weeb but I understand some japanese from watching anime haha no shame ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I have one native language (language spoken at home and spoken by both of my parents), 2 other local languages I learned because where I grew up in (friends, peers). English was taught in school but I only became really fluent writing it when I wrote fanfics for fun when I was in my early to mid teens. That's it. I'm shit at Mandarin and crap at German even though I took it in college. I tried to self-learn Spanish but it never stuck. Learning languages as an adult is an uphill battle. Child brains are OP when it becomes to learning languages.
I can speak english (my first language), and I'm semi-fluent in mandarin chinese. I also know a solid amount of american sign language, and a little french, spanish, and Japanese. Japanese comes pretty easily once you know chinese characters. I want to learn more japanese and chinese in the future, and I also want to learn turkish at least a little. I found out I have family roots from around there, and want to do that to connect with them. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
