If you ask from a science perspective it'll always be the egg, changes in evolution happen from the right combination of DNA so the created the first "chicken" to exist came from an egg
If you ask from a religious pov (Christianity, catholic) the answer would be the chicken bc technically its said that God created...... reply
I actually did a report about this my freshman year of college.
Answer: the egg came first.
Why: Evolution. Animals that lay eggs have existed long before chickens. Chickens existing is the result of a mutation from one species of animal (I believe some kind of jungle fowl from over 10,000 years ago) and the domestication from humans.

I wanna say chicken cause how will an egg exist if there is no parent to produce it but the question didn't specify if the egg is a chicken egg or a different egg. Chicken didn't exist million years ago but eggs from different animals that do so the answer is the egg ig 1 reply
