Like the perfect example of this is Rashta, the hatred towards a literal slave girl who was abused all throughout her life just because she "stole" a noble woman man is so weird especially since white bread mc literally says she'd be okay with an affair if it was with a noble woman??? Unfortunately, historical stuff sometimes attracts racist/sexist/classist/homophobic people because they can project their fucked up ideals onto an imaginary past when everything was "the way things are supposed to be"

IVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR YEARS!!! Kinda weird how the whole plot was the mc being like, "I don't give a fuck if he's cheating, our relationship meant nothing" like the ENTIRE time and then she would change her mind, the whole plot is messy and weird...
