Hey, I am writing a novel and I could really use feedback from anyone who is from japan because the story takes place in Japan. I want to be culturally appropriate and not offend them. The novel is a romance/ political thriller with murder and crimes involved so I want to make sure I do it write. If you are the person I am looking for please let me know.
I spent some time there when I was younger but it was on the island of Okinawa which is very very Americanized (there’s like 28 American military bases on this tiny 881 square mile island) It’s kinda like Hawaii but for Japan.
