Niche subject but to me art college/major is going in the shits. People are losing their jobs and it’s so difficult to get hired unless you know someone who know someone up there in the industry. Choose a course that YOU are genuinely interested in, not what your parents want, not what your friends are taking, and definitely not what your boyfriend/girlfriend is into.

Depends on where you are.
I was an honors student in STEM that immediately went into university. Paid for it out of my own pocket along with my own bills. Do kind of regret how long it took to drop out and the money I wasted on it.

It depends for me, do you have passion on something and want to make it your profession or it's the only way to find a better job or want to do something in your life despite it punching you mentally and physically that could or could not help you in irl job situations? I dropped out of college I was in mathematics and informatics applied to human and social science, then Economics and management
It wasn't worth to hurt my mental health Mostly that what I plan to do seems more fulfilling to me
But it's worth it to have a good stable job with a good salary if you handle the pressure
