Anyone else with many diagnoses?
I've been diagnosed with lots of things so far (ed, adhd, bpd, etc.) And I'm also trans which comes with it's own issues. It honestly makes me feel like there's something wrong with me, like I'm some messed up creature.
So I was wondering if there's others who also have this? I know this might not rlly be the place to ask it, just curious. Like, will I never be able to feel like a normal human bejng or
Well, compared to you, I am pretty "normal", I only have bipolar and add. But the word "normal" should not be used to describe mental health. Just because you have some mental disorders and are trans doesn't mean you are not "normal". Do you think people with diabetes or mobility difficulties or other health problems are not "normal"? I don't have any diagnosis myself but I do study psychology and I thought I'd share a bit. Maybe it'll help.
Psychological disorders aren't like the typical sicknesses like having a cold because they usually cannot be objectively measured (there's no fever thermometer for depression for example). Actually the line between "normal" and "disorder" is...... 1 reply
