Low racial self esteem

A school shooting just happened in Indonesia by a brown asian white supremacists....please someone help my siblings of the global south find self love and stop dick riding the white race jokes aside it's genuinely so sad seeing south and southeast Asians fight so hard to conform to eurocentric standards, from fashion, makeup, beauty standards. A population with naturally light brown to medium brown skin shouldn't use east Asia and Europe as a beacon for the their beauty standards. No you're nose isn't ugly, no you're not too dark, no you aren't too tall for a girl and you aren't too short for a guy. Everyone needs to stop overthinking about themselves so much your causing yourself unnecessary anxiety and overall problems.

Africans and Latinos aren't safe from this either, I'll speak about my experience about a mixed girl, my mom is a black afro Latina and let me tell you she hates every single one of her black features, she tried to have her hair straightened and involuntarily caused her hair to be forever harmed, she always talk about how light and "white" I am im light brown, the colorism is so saddening. Not to mention how even in tv darker Latinos aren't shown in roles unless they're in roles of servitude. Free us from colorism
