I feel like im the only one who feels kind of weirded out by this but everytime I go on Tik tok or in the comment section of a bl where the top is really shy or a""loser"" kind of personality I see comments like ( he should have been the bottom kind of comments ) and everytime I just get weirded out by these comments bcs why is it when a top ( in this case but also in general) have a shy personality or is submissive has to be a bottom . It gets to a point where some people has dropped a bl cus of this ?? Obviously you can get disappointed bcs of this but idk maybe that's because when I read a bl it's more for the plot and romance than the sex but still . Maybe I'm just thinking way too much or that's just me problem but I just wanted to point it out .

You can find these kinds of comments everywhere, and honestly, most of them seem to come from minors imo. It’s the influence of those stereotypical BL couples that many authors keep using ,the big, cold nonchalant alpha daddy seme x shy and submissive uke trope. Why go to tiktok when you can find these exact comments here. Everytime they don't get the position they want, they start whining for them to change the position or "switch".
