how do ppl find new music i just realized I've been replaying the same music from a playlist I made in 2022. after that I mostly listen to video game ost. I didn't actually stop listening to new stuff I just have trouble finding the one I like. in the span of 3 years I think I added like 14 song to a new playlist. I also don't have an artist I'm a big fan of, at most I'd listen to 4 song from their whole discography but that's it.
and recently I've been going insane from listening to the same songs over and over again so idk. afraid to try new things but also sick of playing the same stuff. how do ppl find out what they like.
pick a jojo stand. listen to the artist the stand’s named after. rn ive gotten into kiss thru that method.
alternatively, if ur into pop, pick any popular artist, and scroll down after their top 10 most popular songs and listen to the ones after those. ive found a lot of unexpected bangers that way like kiss it better by Rihanna which ive been ...... reply
Well thanks to Dispatch I've been listening to these three songs nonstop for days.
Usually whenever I hear something I semi enjoy I just find it on Spotify and listen to the full song to see if it's heat enough to add to my playlist. Ngl alot of my recently added songs I heard from edits.

What helps me is Spotify genre playlists (I find the genre of a song/artist I'm in the mood for and just roll with whatever they show me), the daylist thing on Spotify, recommendations from some friends who have similar music taste, and then I also will go on other websites and have them generate me playlists based on an artist. Movie soundtracks,show soundtracks, YouTube channels (dedicated to small and indie bands), I check out local music venues concert calendar, if I have an artist I already like I go through their record labels roster. (Their oldest record label usually the smallest is the best for hidden gems)

fr, i feel the same !!! sometimes its really hard fir me to listen to new songs idk butttttt sometimes when im on spotify, random songs starts playing and i just let it, and if i liked it, i add to my likes and if i REALLLLLY liked it I'll listen to it again and again until i get tired of it !! but yeahh, im going crazy now too cuz idk who to liste...... reply
