Beverly's entire character was weird. Her character revolved around being constantly sexualized by her peers and adults and it was SO weird to see. These are supposed to be kids. Absolutely, I’ve read too many stories with a certain type of child abuse that was completely unnecessary to the story and clearly wasn’t genuine.
