I had 6 subjects each year. This is what a schedule at my school would like: (/ means u choose one) We basically had a bunch of space for electives, and to graduate u do need a certain amount of each type of elective. A lot depends on your district and school, since not all schools get equal funding, even within the same district. There was the general subjects of English, science, math, and social studies/history, and most of it was the same up until middle school. I went to an early college so it was a bit different but English, Math, History, Social Science, Science, P.E., Language plus whatever college classes I was taking. It really just depends on the highschool tbh there are multiple different types of math classes like ex Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics my school taught us different types of algebra like 1 and 2 in 9th grade it just gets more advanced like calculus once we hit 12th grade. They're like the other person said it honestly depends on where you're at. But my high school when I went there were multiple different subjects that you could take. As far as math they had algebra geometry calculus all the basic things and then for geography it wasn't really a focus.
