Is it true that we tend to dislike others who are similar to us?
I’m an introvert, and I usually feel drawn to people who are like me. If I meet someone with similar interests, I’d really want to be friends with them ^^
If I meet a person with a similar interest, my annoying 15 year old self personality resurfaces and I always silently judge them like bro you do not like that song like the way I like it, you don't understand I've liked that piece of media since you were in your father's ballsack, I liked that book when the sandstones that adorn the tombs of great ...... reply
I'm not really sure but personally I feel someone with similar interest would be best for me because having nothing you can talk about with somebody we'll just leave both people to be quiet introvert or not.

I think that's only true if you're dislikable yourself and you only see it when you're in the other person's shoes and realise how asshole you are lol either that or you subconsciously hate yourself, like some deep internal issues and that comes out when you see someone acting similar as you and realise how cringe things are. reply
usually, if i met someone similar to me or my interests, i tend to like them too ! but one time, there's this girl that i kinda hated and i try to ignore her every time, i ended up realizing that she's just similar to me in some way and i hated that ?? idk reply
I'm also an introvert and feel drawn to people that have similar interests. But sometimes I just can't stand people who act like they like the stuff I like because it's become performative. Like I can tell if you're lying about liking something since some of those things are things grew up with. My culture is not your costume reply
We hate people that have the same things we perceive as defects, bc thats also a reflection of hating that part of ourselves idk if I explain myself well, didnt sleep well bc of my catson reply
I mean, I like talking to people who have the same intereses as me, but I think you can easily talk to someone who doesn’t. They can explain what they’re into like a TV show I don’t watch but they are I’ll listen, or it can be the other way around i can search it up etc etc reply
