I’m kinda bored of bl… am I the only one?
I don’t know what happend but this past year I literally got so bored of bl all in general I used read only bl, maybe bc all the bl these days contains abuse in any kinds. Even if I read shounen ai either the plot is great but art sucks or other way around. Is it only me?
that truly depends. I'm tired of Manhwa’s being all about rape so I barely read manhwa’s anymore unless i find something that doesn't contain rape. Try putting ur hands on mangas and manhuas 1 reply
im not bored of BLs but more of the popular ones. i just wanna read some hidden gems shounen ai w amazing art. not a porn slop ughhh i get you tbh. but i wont stop reading bl bc i am determined to find peak fiction like lost in the cloud that everyone should totally read btw 2 reply
I feel like alot of the new ones follow similar plots and are so predictable and boring, like bring back angsty but beautiful bls without sa in 2026 plz 1 reply
hmm idk. I started reading bl like 4 years ago. I think for me, it's just that I've already read so many of all the good bl out there that it became harder to find any more good stuff to read.

i get you. sometimes ill read action for a whole ass month then switch bl then romance idk id say switch things up. reading the same thing will eventually get you fed up with it. 1 reply
You know, I'm not bored... I came back a few months ago from a loooooong break from the genre, so that's may be the main reason I still enjoy many of my readings... but sometimes I find myself a little frustrated, as you said yourself: either the plot is worth bucks but the art is just meh or the other way around. Or, if both art and story are good...... 1 reply
u gotta broaden ur categories! I now read GL, BL, Straight, and non romance. I love stories with no romance, cuz plot is more relevant.
I agree tho, most mainstream/popular BLs are not that good, and I usually have to look pretty hard for good BLs reply
feel ya. i often times find myself reading bls that are completed yeaaars ago. the vibes and the feels just hits different. and i read mangas most of the times so yeah... (bl manhwas are a different breed lmfao) reply
